    Zubin Khanna

Zubin is a Singapore-based robotics engineer with a passion for 3D printing, coding, and developing intelligent systems. Currently, he's a robotics and AI researcher at the National University of Singapore, working under the supervision of Professor Dean Ho, Chair of the Biomedical Engineering Department, and mentored by Dr. Bina Rai, Associate Professor at the department.

His research focuses on exploring the potential of a companion robot in reducing teen anxiety through biometric monitoring and adaptive breathwork. Using AI to analyze the sensor feedback, the robot guides users through personalized breath work patterns delivered via haptic movements.

Zubin has received the 1517 Fund Medici Grant for his work on Zuzi. The 1517 Fund is a San Francisco-based venture capital firm that backs young innovators working on breakthrough ideas, with notable investments in companies like Figma, Luminar Technologies, and Loom.
